Poster: Flash Gordon

I loved this movie as a kid and I still have a fondness for it. I bought the special edition DVD when it was released (finally) and watched it three times that first day. No one else who happened to be around me could understand my fascination. What’s not to love though? A kick ass Queen theme song, a pretty cool story about a football star turned savior of the world, Ornella Muti (I had a big crush on her, enough to sit through that movie she did with Sylvester Stallone – Oscar) and Ming the Merciless. Throw in some flying dudes and Timothy Dalton. Awesome.
